Fashioning a new e-commerce platform and marketing I Love as a fun, stylish and appealing brand with personality has won them a host of new fans.

History

Established in the UK in 2009 by founder and managing director James Brown, I Love Cosmetics is one of the country’s best loved and fastest emerging bath & body brands.

Their bath and body assortment is extensive and includes Bath & Shower Crèmes, Body Butter, Spritzers & Bath Fizzers, in a range of fruity flavours such as Mango & Papaya, Raspberry & Blackberry, Strawberries & Cream and Coconut & Cream.

Aware of our specialism in building brands in the digital world, I Love gave us responsibility for the development of a new e-commerce solution for their business, one that conveyed the brand’s passion for invigorating and unique fragrances.

The Approach

To inform the web build and to understand the impact of each marketing channel in time for the site’s recent launch, our marketing team conducted an intensive brand analysis programme to fully understand I Love’s position in the sector and to identify opportunities that could be capitalised on across the buyer’s journey.

The decision was made to craft the new site using the world’s number one e-commerce platform, Magento 2 as it can grow with the business and offers a streamlined checkout process to increase conversions and encourage repeat customers.

After launch, our marketers immediately began generating sales for the new website through content marketing, paid advertising, display advertising, social media adverts and targeted emails.

The Outcomes

Our radical transformation of the I Love website and the accompanying marketing we’re utilising is helping them push new boundaries with scent, reinventing their brand perception and acquiring new audiences at home and abroad. It better positions them to standout in this most competitive of digital landscapes.
