New client wins lead to Motionlab team expansion.
We have strengthened our team with the appointment of seven new starters following a period of substantial growth. We have won a string of new clients since the start of the year and have bolstered our team to support this expansion.
Our website development team will benefit from the appointment of junior developer Jordan Doyle, front-end developer Mike Booth, both from Lytham, and full stack developer Sebastian Ciocan who joins from Romania.
The account management team has been strengthened with the addition of Kam Abass from Manchester’s SMRS and Joe Jackson from Northern Monkey Media. The pair will be supporting existing clients including AO.com, Johnson Cleaners and FIT Show, as well as working with new clients Cuffe & Taylor, Sugarvine, The Grand Venue and GB Group.
Andrew Baillie joins as senior developer from ecommerce musical instrumental retailer, Venditan. Andrew will work within our software development team as it pushes to launch our bespoke management platform, Orvelo.
Orvelo is a real time dashboard that is aimed at marketing managers and provides a single view of marketing channel performance to build trends, analyse sales enquiries and track the performance of a business or franchise.
Completing the seven is Preston’s Barrie Heaton who joins our creative studio from Johnston Press. Barrie will provide offline creative support for retained clients such as Solidor, Furness College and Bowker Motor Group.
Speaking about the recruitment drive, Motionlab CEO Simon Iredale said:
“It’s a really exciting time at Motionlab HQ. As well as a number of high profile regional and national account wins, we’re investing heavily in our own development initiatives.
“As well as our Orvelo platform, we have a brand new venture due to launch in September which will provide an additional string to our bow. We’re delighted to welcome seven new faces to the team as we push forward with our proposition as one of the North’s leading agencies.”
