History

We have been working with the FIT Show since its inception in 2013. Our award-winning campaign ‘Everyone’s Going’ brought together the glass and glazing sector for its first ever, dedicated UK exhibition. Word of mouth and cross promotion from key figures within the industry, combined with exhibitors, created a network of FIT Show marketers all working to make the show a success.

FIT Show 2013 was a sell out with all 170 exhibition stands filled and four times the predicted visitor numbers as 5,810 people walked through the doors over the two days.

The Approach

The 2016 strategy built on the success of the 2013 and 2014 shows, leveraging the involvement of key brands from within the glass and glazing sector and promoting their offering through traditional and digital marketing channels. The promotional campaign ensured that every exhibitor who had booked a stand was included in all marketing output – from trade advertorials and magazine wraps, through to web banners, direct mail and over printed show tickets distributed by FIT Show and its exhibitors. Brands and products were used in both the exhibitor and visitor promotion phases to reinforce the calibre of the 2016 event and the reasons to attend.

The FIT Show has been a tremendous success since its inception in 2013. We put a lot of the success down to the imaginative and very creative work done by the team at Motionlab.

The Outcomes

FIT Show 2014 succeeded in building on the success of year one, with record visitor numbers and repeat bookings from 80% of exhibitors for the 2016 show.
