Motionlab Redesigns Website For World-Famous Rugby League Side

Tuesday, July 5th, 2011

Motionlab has recently ventured into the world of sport, redeveloping the website for one of the world’s leading rugby league clubs, Wakefield Trinity Wildcats.

Back in February of this year, local businessman and owner of West Yorkshire Windows, Andrew Glover and his ‘Spirit of 1873’ company rescued the Super League team from administration and have sought to encourage more people from the local area to support the club. A brand new website was viewed as being a key component in helping them achieve this goal.

The web design team at Motionlab have ensured that the new site gives new and existing fans the most comprehensive insight into everything relating to the ‘Wildcats’.

It fully incorporates social media so that the club can give supporters up-to-the-minute information and includes a news feed on the home page direct from the rugby league section on the BBC website.

Links to match tickets and club merchandise have also been given increased exposure on the site so that fans can purchase all items without having to travel to the club’s Rapid Solicitors Stadium.

Imagery throughout the site has been enhanced with individual pages introduced for each member of the Wildcats playing and coaching staff so that followers can get to know all their favourite players in greater detail.

The club’s new owners also wanted to push their ‘Club 1873’ membership scheme which offers supporters discounts and incentives to further stabilise the long-term future of the club.

With this in mind, we have created a special membership page where fans can join-up and see the numerous benefits to be gained from taking part in the scheme.

We believe that the new site www.wakefieldwildcats.co.uk will give the club and its supporters the showcase they deserve and fully demonstrate their commitment towards securing a new Super League licence.

Wilkinson Cameras Get A New-Look Website

Monday, July 4th, 2011

Increasing numbers of people now purchase all their photography solutions online. However, finding the right make and model for your specific requirements via the internet can be difficult.

The new Wilkinson Cameras website www.wilkinson.co.uk designed by Motionlab seeks to make the online buying process simpler than ever before for customers.

Wilkinson Cameras are one of the North West’s leading stockists of compact cameras, camcorders and other photography-related products and felt that their current website didn’t exhibit their full product range as successfully as their nine superstores.

Following months of hard work and a tremendous amount of dedication shown by our web design team, the new site now beautifully complements their stores as all their products are given their own individual page. Online users can also get a better feel for their chosen product as they can focus on images from numerous angles, giving them more confidence when they buy online.

We all tend to have our favourite brands and the same theory applies when buying a camera. This has been taken on board with the introduction of a ‘brand’ page so that customers can locate their preferred brand within seconds.

Any customers needing online assistance can call upon the ‘live help’ option which will put them in direct contact with a member of Wilkinson Cameras highly qualified team of photography experts who are on hand to help with the decision-making process.

Wilkinson Cameras are renowned for offering customers deals on brands that they wouldn’t be able to find elsewhere. The ‘weekly offers’ page will give them the opportunity to promote such discounts on a regular basis.

The SEO team have applied the finishing touches to the site by ensuring that content throughout is as search engine friendly as possible.

New Dealer Site Launched For Conservatory Outlet

Tuesday, June 21st, 2011

Motionlab have recently redesigned a dealer-dedicated website on behalf of one of our longest standing clients, Conservatory Outlet.

Conservatory Outlet already has a growing network of dealers covering large parts of the country but felt that their website www.conservatoryoutletdealers.co.uk was lacking the ingredients required to help them attract further dealers to the network.

They called upon our web design team to revamp the existing site as we have been involved in the recent re-design of the vast majority of websites belonging to their network members, including Conservatory Outlet’s own main retail site.

Another factor in appointing Motionlab was down to the fact that many of those network members have reported a significant increase in the number of leads and sales received since their website was rejigged and given the green light.

We sought to give the site a completely fresh new look. Our web designers have made the site as eye-catching and vibrant as possible, with navigation made simpler than ever before so that new and existing dealers can find what they want, when they want. All content throughout the site has also been re-written to help give interested dealers a better understanding of exactly what joining the Conservatory Outlet network entails and what it can do for their business.

Any dealer looking interested in joining the network can now express their interest via the website. The team have implemented sections such as ‘Book a FREE presentation’ and ‘Request a call back’ on the majority of pages so that the company can easily be contacted no matter which page the online user lands on.

The new site will go some way in helping Conservatory Outlet attract more dealers to the network located in the North East, Central Midlands and South East as these are regions where they are keen to increase their presence.

We love working with cool, contemporary brands and they don’t come much cooler than Cosatto, one of the UK’s leading suppliers of baby products.

The site has been given a complete makeover with vibrant and eye-catching colours added to make the whole online experience as fun as possible for visitors. This is far from the case when it comes to the client base of Motionlab Marketing, one of the North’s leading digital agencies.

The Conservatory Outlet dealership experienced an unprecedented 179% increase in the number of leads it received regards conservatories, windows and doors during the months of January and February in 2011 compared to the beginning of last year. One network member even managed to attract an incredible 344% rise in leads received.

These exceptional figures have been achieved following the recent re-design of many of the network’s websites by Motionlab’s web design team.

Motionlab’s SEO and PPC departments have also had their part to play by helping increase visitor numbers to each individual website and the main Conservatory Outlet website currently ranks at number one for the terms ‘conservatory’ and ‘conservatories’ in the major search engines.

But the success stories don’t end there. Friday, March 11th, 2011

Motionlab relishes the challenge of taking on big projects with big responsibilities. They don’t come much bigger than producing an all-encompassing new website for the primary representative organisation for companies involved in the glazing industry, the GGF.

The Glass and Glazing Federation (GGF) commissioned Motionlab to create the new site after being alerted to our previous great work for a variety of different UK glazing companies.

Our SEO, technical, web design and copywriting teams have all had their part to play in ensuring that the new site is as accessible and informative as possible for all homeowners, existing and potential GGF members and commercial specifiers.

Homeowners visiting the site will be made aware of just how important it is to only use GGF-approved installers when in the market for home improvement products as the site now contains the very best industry-related content. Locating an accredited member is also easier than ever before thanks to the wizardry of our ever clever designers.

We have also created a dedicated ‘Publications’ page where the GGF can upload all technical guides and codes of practice. Each publication can then in turn be downloaded by all members and commercial specifiers to be used and referred to when they are undertaking assignments at homes or within construction.

The GGF is widely considered to be a leading authority within the glass and glazing industry. The ‘News’ and ‘Events’ pages will enable the federation to regularly keep visitors up to date with everything going on within the every-changing world of glass.

The site has only been live for around 48 hours but we are delighted to report that it is already receiving plaudits across the board from those involved in the industry. It is good to know that all our hard work has paid off for yet another one of our high-profile clients.

Wednesday, March 2nd, 2011

A few weeks ago we informed you that since Motionlab redesigned Conservatory Outlet’s and 5 Star Window & Conservatories websites; they had experienced an unprecedented increase in online traffic, leads and sales.
