Motionlab Launch New Gola Website

Sunday, August 16th, 2009

Motionlab have launched the new website for British sports brand, Gola, www.gola.co.uk.

The new site, for the first time, will combine the Gola Classics and Gola Sport lines under one roof and includes a new online shop, which offers a selected range of Gola merchandise to the international market. Designed with Gola’s international, fashion conscious customer base in mind, the new website features a contemporary new look combined with understated styling.

The new website features an extensive product database that highlights a wide selection of current styles of footwear, clothing, bags and accessories that are available across the globe.  A detailed timeline introduces browsers on the site to the history and succession of the Gola brand since it was established back in 1905.  The ‘news’ section incorporates up to the minute information concerning developments and issues revolving the brand, while the ‘My Gola’ section features downloadable content and competitions.

Motionlab spent three months developing the site (paying ‘painstaking attention to detail’) and have tailored its understated, clean style to appeal to sartorial sorts across the globe. Commenting on the new website Donna Hill, PR and marketing manager, said: “The new website will combine the Classics, Sport and diffusion lines under one roof for the first time.  The site is clean and easy to navigate and as a result of consumer feedback the site will now feature an online shop.”

Motionlab awarded Famous Footwear online brief

Friday, August 14th, 2009

After working with GOLA on their e-Commerce and brochureware sites earlier in 2009, we were invited to pitch for the e-Commerce brief for Famous Footwear. The company has over 80 stores throughout the UK and a massive range of well known shoe brands including Timberland, Clarks, Dunlop and more.

We will be developing an integrated web solution that uses internal stock level control and order processing. The system will also tie into the groups fulfilment process.
