Football Fever Hits Team Motionlab

Inspired to put right what England did so dreadfully wrong at the World Cup, the team at Motionlab are putting their football boots on to try and bring some much needed silverware to the city of Preston.  We have entered the Manchester Digital Creative Cup 2010, a 5-a-side football event for all the leading digital, creative and web design agencies in the region.

The event has been organised by Ian James Cox, who is hoping that the 16 team tournament will help raise £1,000 for Marie Curie Cancer Care. It is due to take place on Sunday 10th October in Manchester. With only a few weeks to go, the whole of the Motionlab squad is currently in training, sharpening up their footy skills in preparation for kick-off.

Motionlab trip to London

Even though the tickets were ridiculously expensive (Virgin trains certainly aren’t a low cost train company when it comes to travelling to London) Simon and Jonathan went on a 1 day, 12 hour round trip to Amersham. Alarm 6.30, car to Office, pick up Jonathan, car to station, breakfast at McDonalds, train to Euston, taxi to Marylebone, train to Amersham, pick up at station, car to clients office, 2 hour meeting, car to station, train to Marylebone, taxi to Euston, train to Preston, car to office, drop off Jonathan, car home, pub by 7:30.

Nice.
