We’ve Moved Office!

After much hard work, planning and preparation (and not without the odd hitch) it’s the beginning of a new and exciting era for team Motionlab as we have finally moved into our swanky new offices at the Citygate Building, Preston.

We will be hosting a special launch night in the next few weeks so that all our clients and associates can come down and see our brand new home in all its glory over a few cheeky drinks or two. Watch this space for more details…

Motionlab Make The Cut At Red Rose Awards

We are thrilled to announce that Motionlab has been short-listed for the award of ‘Creative Business of the Year’ for the second year in succession at this year’s Lancashire Business View Red Rose Awards.

Due to take place at Blackpool’s Winter Gardens on Thursday 15th March, the Red Rose Awards feature 20 categories and recognise the outstanding achievements of businesses in a range of sectors throughout the region.

Our place on the shortlist was secured after we managed to survive two days of intensive interviewing from the judging panel about our initial entry and impressed them enough to include us in this most prestigious and competitive category.

It marks a fantastic start to 2012 for us following the successes of last year when we achieved our first-ever million pound turnover and also coincides with our impending move to our new home at Preston’s Citygate building. It is also testament to the hard-work and dedication put in by every single member of the team week in, week out.

Weve already started to choose the chairs…

So no sooner had we signed the contracts and picked up the keys but we got our clients and good friends at MSL to give us some advice on making our dream offices. Being specialists in modern, contemporary and quality office furniture we thought the match perfect for our ambitions.

After several meetings with the chaps and immediately discounting Sir Alan Sugars ‘Silver’ chair http://www.msl-interiors.co.uk/products/seating/executive-chairs/silver we got down to the finer detail of ordering desks, chairs, boardroom tables, cupboards and much more.

Suffice to say the team at MSL were amazingly fast to respond, understood exactly what we wanted from our new offices and have worked with us to source the most brilliant office furniture.

We just can’t wait for it to turn up!

New Year, New Office For Motionlab

After being born out of very humble beginnings in Simon’s house back in 2004, Motionlab are delighted to announce that early in 2012 we will be relocating to a brand new start-of-the-art office at the Citygate building, Preston.

As the business has expanded massively over the past few years and space is now at a premium at our current HQ on 517 Garstang Road (unfortunately installing an extension wasn’t an option, sorry Conservatory Outlet!) we decided that the time had come to find an alternative location.

And we couldn’t have found a finer destination as Citygate not only offers outstanding and modern desirable business office space, but it is also ideally located just ½ mile off Junction 31A of the M6 motorway.

Our move to Citygate will enable us to expand Motionlab further over the coming years and help us retain our position as being one of the North’s leading digital agencies. It will also allow us to provide our clients with an even more comprehensive service.
