Motionlab Produce New Website For Latest Conservatory Outlet Dealer

Tuesday, January 31st, 2012

Scottish home improvement specialists The Home Enhancement Company have had their existing site redesigned by Motionlab after recently joining Conservatory Outlet’s nationwide dealership.

One of the many motivations the Aberdeen-based firm had for joining the network was that they would benefit from a new-look lead generating and fully search engine optimised website.

As in the past, Conservatory Outlet passed on full responsibility for the site design to the team at Motionlab. We have done our best to ensure that it will enable The Home Enhancement Company to attract a sharp increase in online enquiries. In 2011, on average we helped the network’s 18 other dealers generate an average of 125% more online enquiries compared with the same time in 2010.

The same tried and tested web template created by our web designers which has proved so successful for many other dealers within the network has been used to full effect.

The Home Enhancement Company’s full suite of products including all conservatories, window and door designs have been given significant exposure on the home page and throughout the site so that online visitors can locate exactly what they are looking for with immediate ease.

The business has already managed to forge a fantastic reputation north of the border, recently winning a Customer Care Merit Award after achieving a 97% customer satisfaction rating in an installation quality survey.

Their new site http://www.homeenhancementwindows.co.uk/ gives The Home Enhancement Company further opportunity to develop the online-arm of the business over the coming years.

Friday, December 23rd, 2011

Motionlab have created a brand new e-commerce website for flooring specialists RightStep set to become a one-stop online flooring shop for all those seeking affordable carpet and vinyl solutions.

With increasing numbers of UK homeowners looking to improve, rather than move, RightStep saw a significant gap in the market. The new-look www.rightstepfloors.com will enable them to take advantage as they have one of the widest selections of carpet and vinyl flooring solutions on the net and now have a fantastic online platform from which to sell them.

RightStep appointed Motionlab as they were made aware of our proven track record for providing high-quality web design for clients within the home improvement sector.

We have utilised all of our experience to craft RightStep a site which makes it as easy as possible for the online shopper to find wood effect, tile effect or even stone effect vinyl flooring to suit.

With finances tight amongst many householders, a sales page has also been introduced where RightStep intend to offer discount carpets on vinyl on a regular basis.

We have worked together with Energi Installations plc since 2006 when we were heavily involved in the initial branding and naming of the company. Our partnership continues to go from strength to strength five years on following the launch of the site www.energiplc.co.uk.

Sitting alongside www.planetsolar.co.uk which targets domestic homeowners seeking state-of-the-art solar technology, Energi’s new website showcases their full portfolio of work within the commercial sector.

A newly-created case studies page demonstrates to visitors just how they have managed to go on to become one of the most respected designers and installers of solar power systems in the UK.

Imagery has been carefully shot and added to the site by our web designers so that it best displays how the company are experienced in dealing with both small and large-scale solar PV projects.

Energi asked that particular focus was given to the feed-in-tariff (FIT) as it is a key-selling point for customers. FIT is an incentive which requires energy suppliers to make payments to commercial property owners for the electricity they create and Motionlab have made sure that it has significant prominence throughout the site.

Motionlab Comes To The Rescue Of The Triple Glazing Superheroes

Friday, July 29th, 2011

A unique product deserves a unique marketing concept. When Conservatory Outlet informed us that they would be introducing triple glazing to their product range, one of the biggest innovations in the home improvement market in recent years, we informed them that solely advertising it on their existing website simply wasn’t enough.

We instead insisted that it should be promoted in the most remarkable way possible on its own dedicated site and thankfully Conservatory Outlet agreed!

Not only that, but we also came up with the quirky idea of the product being endorsed by three superheroes, ‘Flash Carbon, ‘Solar Lola’ and Weatherman’, who have arrived on Planet Earth to help people save money, save energy and the planet. We swear we haven’t gone mad!

The new site www.tripleglazingsuperheroes.com gives online visitors a comprehensive insight into triple glazing in the most personable way possible.

Sitting alongside cartoon imagery shaped by our graphic designers, all content included throughout the site is written from the perspective of the three Superheroes. It details how homeowners can save money on energy and do their bit for the environment by replacing their existing windows for triple glazing.

One of the most prominent features on the site is the blog area where the Triple Glazing Heroes will keep users regularly informed of any relevant industry developments and news relating to triple glazing and associated products.

Navigational aspects have also been taken care of with the introduction of clickable tabs across each individual page so that home improvement enthusiasts can easily gain a better understanding of this most revolutionary creation.

We believe that the Triple Glazing Superheroes will create the intrigue and business from consumers that this ground-breaking product deserves.

Motionlab Redesigns Website For World-Famous Rugby League Side

Tuesday, July 5th, 2011

Motionlab has recently ventured into the world of sport, redeveloping the website for one of the world’s leading rugby league clubs, Wakefield Trinity Wildcats.

Back in February of this year, local businessman and owner of West Yorkshire Windows, Andrew Glover and his ‘Spirit of 1873’ company rescued the Super League team from administration and have sought to encourage more people from the local area to support the club. A brand new website was viewed as being a key component in helping them achieve this goal.

The web design team at Motionlab have ensured that the new site gives new and existing fans the most comprehensive insight into everything relating to the ‘Wildcats’.

It fully incorporates social media so that the club can give supporters up-to-the-minute information and includes a news feed on the home page direct from the rugby league section on the BBC website.

Links to match tickets and club merchandise have also been given increased exposure on the site so that fans can purchase all items without having to travel to the club’s Rapid Solicitors Stadium.

Imagery throughout the site has been enhanced with individual pages introduced for each member of the Wildcats playing and coaching staff so that followers can get to know all their favourite players in greater detail.

The club’s new owners also wanted to push their ‘Club 1873’ membership scheme which offers supporters discounts and incentives to further stabilise the long-term future of the club.

With this in mind, we have created a special membership page where fans can join-up and see the numerous benefits to be gained from taking part in the scheme.

We believe that the new site www.wakefieldwildcats.co.uk will give the club and its supporters the showcase they deserve and fully demonstrate their commitment towards securing a new Super League licence.
